GeographyMaster, operated by {OPERADOR}, processes only the personal data the application needs to work. This document explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Using the site without an account

The globe, the countries, the flags, the capitals, the facts and the included memory technique all work without signing up and without us identifying you.

We only store your chosen language in your browser, so we can take you to the right version next time.

Data we process if you create an account

When you sign up we keep the minimum needed to provide the service:

  • Email address: identifies your account and lets you recover access.
  • Password: never stored as such, only an irreversible cryptographic hash.
  • Name: optional, only used to greet you.
  • Countries you mark as learned and techniques you save.
  • Technical session data (IP address and browser) to detect abuse.

AI generation

If you are a Premium user and request a new technique, we send OpenAI the country name, its capital, the continent and your chosen language. We do not send your email, your name or anything that identifies you.

The resulting text and image are stored on our server so you can revisit them without generating them again.

Who we share data with

Only the providers needed to run the service:

  • Hostinger: web hosting and database.
  • OpenAI: technique and image generation, for Premium users only.
  • Stripe: subscription payments. Your card details are handled by Stripe directly; we never see or store them.
  • Google AdSense: advertising for free users, when enabled.

Cookies

We use one technical cookie to keep you signed in. It is essential and is not used to track you across other websites.

If you are a free user and advertising is active, the ad network may set its own cookies under its own policy.

How long we keep data

For as long as your account is open. If you ask us to delete it, we remove your personal data, your progress and your saved techniques.

Sessions expire on their own and technical logs are cleared periodically.

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete or port your data, or object to its processing. Write to {CORREO_DE_CONTACTO} and we will reply within the legally required period.

You may also complain to the data protection authority in {PAIS} if you believe we have not handled your request properly.
